The social me app on Facebook is like a training ground. For one thing no profile is the norm so you don't have to worry about that. The really great thing is at any one time there's hundreds maybe even thousands of women online at any one time and a lot don't even bother to check if you're in the same country.

Do you know what that means? It means you can try different things to say and practice having conversations on a LOT of women in a short space of time. I found it was much easier to get women into a conversation when they know nothing about you.

It's also a handy place to find out what impression women have of your photo(s) by the tags they give. From experiments with photos I have found women will happily tag hot or sexy if they want to, despite the things they say about receiving the same.

Myyearbook was once a place for US colleges but now much more a global social network. It's another place to test which photos work because it has this kind "say yes or no" to people's photos and then you or they have to guess out of an array of pictures who would chose you.

I know, it sounds stupid, but when you first arrive literally hundreds of women will say yes to you and you can gain some insight into the appeal of your photo by the quality of those women. Plus there's lots of single women there too. It's public in the same way as myspace is.

Of course guys have to pay (genius business plan isn't it?) but its fairly reasonable. Why pay you say?

Well, the dynamics of the site actually work in your favour. Most dating sites suffer from the effects of the paradox of choice. This is a concept that proves that too much choice at one time causes people to be less happy about their choices and potentially more cynical over making choices.

This site limits the amount of random people you see, which is great! In terms of unasked for interest this is phenomenal: a friend of mine got 50 profile views a week whereas on other dating sites you're if you hit the 50 marker in 6 freaking months.

With great pictures and a killer profile they'll be lining up to meet you! Plus, the competition is going to be fairly minimal since everyone else with some conversational skills or that knows how to create attraction is going to be on the free sites.
